A few days ago I was skeptical about going to CC’s DG outing, because they’d changed it from an Amazing Race to a bowling game and barbecue. I’ve never really been a fan of devouring ‘smoky-flavoured’ food and my previous attempt at bowling didn’t… go too well. Still, something in my mind convinced me to attend the outing, even though twas raining when I woke up and my room had the atmosphere of a island resort room.
Result? I came home really late, with greasy hair, strongly odored clothes and a strained right arm. Up til now, the area between palm and elbow feels strange and I seemed to have slightly lost my grip on items. I cannot totally curl my right fingers inwards without feeling a sore stretch on my arm.
Still, I cannot imagine me not attending the event, even if I had a premonition about my right shoulder or elbow joint dislocating. That little strain I got was definitely worth getting to know more about other CC members and having a wonderful fellowship with them over barbecue, which lasted far longer than what was stated on the event page. Though not many were there, but the few people who attended were already enough to make yesterday SUPER memorable.

After watching anime for quite some time, I’ve managed to distinguish some of the more common voice actors already. It gets really easy after a while, especially if the voices are pretty unique. I was watching episode 9 of Arcana Famiglia, and all of a sudden I exclaimed,
after hearing young Mondo’s voice. And it resulted in the rest of the scene becoming anti-climatic.
And since I’m already making references to Gintama: I bought an Ichiban Kuji poster of Sougo as Bakaiser yesterday. It’s a poster of him sitting on his throne and shining in his evil glory. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Don’t think I’ll be unrolling it anytime soon though. It was the only item I found that was worth buying at NP’s convention yesterday.
And I forgot to remind my friend about her camera, so I haven’t taken shots of my Saber nendo yet. Oh dear.
Unless I find a way to get extra income this September, there’s not going to be any way I can quickly fufill my wishlist, powered by a sudden bizarre obsession with plastic figures. Slight correction though, because I’ll be meeting awesome Saber nendo tomorrow! :DD Or technically, in a few hours’ time. But really, I’m looking forward to it so much that I tried clearing some space in my room. And no, I’m not a collector, in fact this is my pioneer figurine. can’t wait can’t wait! 😀
On a completely unrelated note,
Top: my handwriting when I was Primary 5 compared to that of a few weeks ago(bottom). How much exactly have I changed?
You find out the person behind that awesome Mami Tomoe and Saber Bride cosplays is a man, and that he has a girlfriend.
As I continue staring at a picture of his flawless Mami Tomoe, I realise I still can’t buy the hard truth. I’m really hoping I got it wrong.
But then again, no wonder the chest area always seemed a little out of proportion. Oh why.
And the neighbour decides to start drilling early in the morning. Not that I blame him ( I’m probably one of the rare people in the block who has holidays at the end of August), but it’s getting on my nerves because it’s been going on and off for the past 2 hours. Loud, soft, loud, soft. What are you, someone who’s trying to form a drill orchestra?
I’ve got a whole bunch of tasks to complete this September. Putting aside the room cleaning and other aside, I’ve calculated: If I don’t get a job, I’ll only get to live on $4.02 a day.
